serial killer research :)

We reasearched into different serial killers that the serial killer in our film could be based on. We decided that we could use the serial killer Ed Gein, as he fitted the profile, he was known as 'The Butcher of Plainfield'.Our serial killer is going to be based on him, this is so our film can have a more realistic feel to it. We will do this by using makeshift newspaper cuttings and sticking them on a wall, to make it almost look like a shrine. This may be hard for us to recreate though as Ed Gein, was not listed as a serial killer. He was a grave robber, necrophilia, cannabilism, sadism and death fetishism. He used his victims flesh to sew up lamp shades and couches. He inspired films like 'Psycho', 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Silence of the Lambs'.
