Here are some of the make-up shots we got while on the filming day. We wanted the actresses to look like they have been tortured and look distresssed for the filming, we also wanted the make-up to match the mise en scene and the setting to fit with the generic conventions of a horror.

Setting
We have decided to shoot our trailer in a cellar beneath The Boot Room Eaterie, Mill Stone Lane, Leicester. When we first looked at the setting we took some pictures to include in our planning.
This is a photo of the cellar stairs, they are narrow and steep creating a isolated, ominous atmosphere.
We took other photos in the cellar of the more worn out looking parts to go with our genre of horror.
These photos show the main areas of the filming we did.
When filming we had to think about the different lighting for the different shots as we didnt want any of the filming to be too dark or too bright.
Here is a photo of the lift we used as part of the trailer. We felt that it fitted well with the characters and mise en scene for the trailer. We used this for the murderers way of bringing his victims in.
We need to start editing our film soon, and create some music to go with it.
